• How do I apply the temporary tattoos?

Pick a smooth, clean & dry area of skin. Remove the transparent top sheet and if necessary, carefully cut around your design, making sure not to clip the artwork. Place the design face down onto skin.Use a cloth to wet the whole paper thoroughly and wait 30-60 seconds. Lift up one corner to check if the design has transferred, dampen further if it hasn’t.Peel away the backing paper, revealing your new temporary body art!

• How long do they last?

Once applied to skin they will last anywhere between 1 to 5 days, but they look their best for the first two days. Whilst still in their original packaging they will keep for years to come, so long as they are kept dry, cool and away from direct sunlight.

• How to handle the large sheets of small designs?

If you have bought one of our larger sheets with smaller designs (e.g. Tokens of Nature) please keep the last thin layer of film on when cutting out your design. This will ensure that any designs you don’t use don’t get stuck to something else. If you do take of all of the film then please keep your sheet sticky side up and away from anything it can stick to!

• What's the best way to remove them?

We’ve found that using a skin safe, gentle oil and cotton pad is easiest. Cover the cotton pad in oil and then gently rub in circles, the temporary tattoo should come away easily. Alternatively you can try an exfoliator or rubbing the tattoo away with soap and water.

• Are they safe for children?

Yes! They are non toxic and printed using soy-bean ink. However, we do not recommend them for children under 3 years old.

• Are they safe for sensitive skin?

Most probably yes, but we cannot guarantee it so we advice against using them if unsure. If you would really like to try them then we would recommend cutting a very small piece and apply as a patch test.

• Can I use your design to make a real tattoo?

It is possible, provided that you have purchased the appropriate tattoo licence. Please refer to the tattoo licence listing for more information.

• What are the temporary tattoo made of?

Our temporary tattoos are printed on paper using soya based ink. The transparent top sheet is made of recyclable plastic and so is the sleeve.

• Can I recycle them?

Yes! The backing paper can be recycled with paper, and the protective film and outer sleeve can be recycled with bags at bigger supermarkets (UK only) or with your local plastic collection.

• A note on the use of plastic

We are working hard on sourcing a compostable bio-based plastic for both the protective film and sleeve. Unfortunately, at present we have found that these are the best for protecting your temporary tattoos from degrading over time, and allow maximum storage capacity.

Why not reuse the sleeve to store something? We use ours to store seeds and they work very well at that!

• Will there be more designs to come?

Yes, we release new temporary tattoo designs regularly. Make sure to follow us on Instagram and sign up to our newsletter to stay in the loop.

• Where can I buy your temporary tattoos?

We are primarily selling online and make occasional appearances at festivals and local markets.

• Can I sell your temporary tattoos?

We love to see our temporary tattoos stocked by other retailers, please get in touch for wholesale prices.

• Do you make custom temporary tattoos?

This is possible, however please note the minimum order quantity is 500 units and the lead time will be 2-3 months.

• When will I receive my order?

We aim to send all orders within 24-48 hours of purchase. Delivery times will vary, depending on your country; ranging from 1-2 days in the UK to 3-5 days worldwide. Please note it can sometimes take up to 10 days for your order to arrive.

• Can I return all, or part off my order?

Yes, we can accept returns, as long as the temporary tattoo hasn't been damaged and is still in its original sealed packaging. Shipping cost will need to be paid for by yourself.
