Matilda Rose is a premium temporary tattoo brand designed by tattoo artist Rachael Ainsworth, co-founded with her partner Charlie Gehant. 

The illustrations are designed exactly as Rachael would create her real tattoos, giving them a realistic edge. Rachael focuses mainly on botanical, nature and ornamental inspired designs. They are perfect for those wishing to get a better feel of the permanence of real tattoos, for those deciding on placement or just for fun self expression. All of the designs are intended to allow you to get creative and make your own compositions. Great for both adults and little ones!

Rachael is a well respected fineline tattoo artist with 15 years experience. She has tattooed across Europe and previously owned a successful international tattoo studio with her partner Charlie in Berlin.

Rachael and Charlie have been retailing temporary tattoos in 2017. After the arrival of their daughter Matilda in 2022, they made a decision to create a new brand, separate from Rachael herself, in the hopes for the business to bloom into something exciting of its own.

They live together with their two children in the countryside just outside of Frome, Somerset.

They are really pleased to be bringing Matilda Rose to some excellent independent markets this year, including The Frome Independent - keep an eye on our Instagram for updates. They look forward to trading at some other markets and festivals very soon too.

Rachael and Charlie hope to collaborate with some of their friends within the industry in the near future, creating a larger catalogue of designs from some of the best artists across the globe.
